GSA - Contract for Computer Training and Services
ExecuTrain of Utah, through its corporate parent, has GSA contract with the US General Services Administration and may, at its discretion, allow ExecuTrain of Utah to use and benefit from the GSA contract.
What is GSA?
GSA (U.S. General Services Administration) is the federal agency that supports and facilitates the commercial procurement of “off the shelf” type products and services for the federal government. “Federal” is defined as the US government – not to be confused with state, city, or county governments.
What is a GSA contract?
The General Services Administration Agency approves -or declines- contracts via a screening process that selects vendors who meet their standards of fair and reasonable pricing of product offerings and who meet their reputable, financial and credibility standards. This gives federal procurement representatives, regardless of their unique federal agency, a pre-approved/ ready resource of vendors to purchase “off the shelf” items from. A lengthy formal solicitation process is involved when requesting consideration for a GSA contract award.
Does ExecuTrain have a GSA contract award?
Yes. The ExecuTrain franchisor (aka ET3) received a GSA multi-year contract refresh extension in November 2008. ATTN: The refreshed contract extension applies only to public ILT seats at an ET facility (SIN 400) EVC and manuals were not granted extensions under the refreshed contract. (The ExecuTrain Franchisor ET3 was originally granted a GSA contract award in 2003.)
ExecuTrain’s GSA contract - is awarded under the “Schedule 69” GSA procurement pyramid , reference product classification “Training Aids and Devices”.
Per terms of the GSA contract, the government mandates that it receive the lowest price ExecuTrain offers to any client. Therefore no other client can receive pricing that drops below the pricing listed in ExecuTrain’s GSA schedule/contract. This lowest pricing mandate applies to all franchises, and includes all promotional offerings, specials, local, and national pricing agreements.
